Applied for LTCH today. I did the electronic fingerprint. They said I should have it in 4 days. I've been waiting a year because I had some legal issues I had to work out. I can't believe I FINALLY made it!!!

Congrats on getting squared away. I think you'll find more like 2-3 weeks not 4 days. Who told you 4 days?

Congrats on getting your LTCH. Even though you may read stories about people getting them back in 3 to 4 days, 7 days will be the earliest you could expect to see it going through L1, and it may be longer than that. Still better than doing it without L1.

My wife and I did ours the old fashioned way, and we mailed it all out on Jan. 30 so we have a while to wait yet, but at least it's in the process.

It could be four days. Within the last 6 months everything was sped up quite a bit.My friend got his in 6 days and that was over the holiday weekend in December too.

I got mine in under a week. That was back in October & I used L1 & paid the county the same day.

Congratulations! Four days is really fast. I'd say 1 or 2 weeks is still pretty fast. I have my Arizona CCW and it took about 2 weeks to receive (back when CCW's were required to carry a concealed weapon in AZ). I am new to Indiana, and can't speak to the wait time. I can't wait until I get my Driver's license and able to apply for my LTCH.

My wife and son both got theirs back in less than a week. I got mine back before the computer age, when it took forever and you had to give a reason.

Ya, I'm in Hammond, went to the L1 place on Indy north of 165th. Then went to PD. They confirmed my address was in Hammond, and I was on my way.
