it is that time of the year to use the snow blower.
I am looking and digging every where for my gloves.
My big problem is finding just one of the set.
I figured out a way not to lose them.
I had to buy a bag of 10 spring steel paper clips.
Those black steel triangle clips with the two loop handle to open them.
I attached a loop of string to a handle.
I clip the cuffs of the gloves with a clip.
I hang gloves by the string (makes it easy to slip over the wall hook).
The gloves are up out of the way.
Hanging by the cuff they seemed to dry faster.
I also do not misplace one.

3 boxes in the coat closet, a name on each box. ALL winter gear is to go in the appropriate box. When done correctly, nothing is ever lost.

We have a similar system. All heavy weather accessory's have a place/containers on the closet shelf. All light weather accessory's go on the same shelf as the heavy weather gear separated by the rain gear. It is all right there. If something is not then the poo-poo head that used it did not put it back. Yes I have been a poo-poo head on occasion.

Have to wonder if Spike Jones 5 2002 has lost any of his socks in his dryer.

isn't this how we feed the wash machine and drier. They need to eat also. Once they finish eating. They poo into the lint filter.
I am not sure. All the white ones look the same to me.
But then I always wonder why I have more right foot socks than left.

You come in from clearing the snow or just playing around in the snow.
Then you place the wet gloves in a box and put the box in the closet.
I hate to think of the smell when you go to use the gloves again.

Uh........no, they do get set on the table in the mud room. But I can see them getting over looked.

If I put something wet in with the rest of the gear my spouse would pin my ears back. I just got the Un-pinned from my last act of stupid. Not in any hurry to repeat that....:):

Now when you walked into your house. You clipped the gloves together and hung them up on a coat hook. The muddy gloves would not dirty up the table. They would also dry faster. Also the chance of knocking one off the table and kicking it around is null.

Also your spouse would not have to treat you like a 2 year old.

Good lord man. Are you a constant source. Wet......wet......my gloves are seldom wet. Never muddy. I use throw away brown gloves for any work such as mud. But if so they are wet just set to dry. And then returned.

    Humor my friend. Humor.
