    by public do you mean free? or public can join? im not sure what youngs yearly membership is but i think its a pretty penny. not that it would not be worth it if it was close

    Hillside Shooting range between Ft Wayne and Huntington on US 24...about 5 minutes from I-69 near the GM plant can't miss it. $10 for each visit open Sat/Sun/Mon for now.

    Young's looks great, but that is too far for me to go from Central Indy. Bass & Bucks is pretty good, goes to 750. I'll be there Friday, 11th.

    By public I mean, the public can pay and shoot there. I probably wouldn't join a range that is an hour from my house but I would pay $20 to shoot for an afternoon. I may have to find a member to "visit" with. The club I belong to has a 130 yard target which is currently more than far enough for me but I'm hoping to someday want to shoot farther.

    Yes, I don't recall the hourly rate. I think at about 3 hours it is cheaper for the day rate ($15). I have paid the day rate each time because I usually shoot a few different guns and pass the three hours.
