my new Hogue stock, Green Mountain barrel & Nikon Target EFR just arrived, time for my neglected 10/22 to get some updates. EGW cantilevered rails are on the way for both but for the time being here she is...

Purchased my first rifle over the weekend. Got a few pictures and thought I would share.

I present my Swiss K31. I've checked on the serial number and found that it was made in 1946, and from the tag under the stock it was never issued and just lived at an armory.

I can't wait to take her out and shooting!

That is one fine looking rifle there. A K31, K98K, and M39 are all on my to-own list... I've handled a couple, those bolts are smooooooth man.

Please let us know how she shot if you took her out already! This as someone said before is on my "get this rifle" short list (wife allowing, of course).

Once I get it out to the range I will come back with an update. Right now though I'm not sure when that is going to be. I generally shoot down in Brown County and not sure when I can swing that next. :( It's killing me not being able to shoot it!

I hear ya on that one. I'd give anything for some acreage and a range at home. I can't get out and shoot a fraction of what I'd like to.

Finally got around to taking a pic of the new M1A, alongside with my new 1911 (NRM 1991), My Sig556, and my 92FS.

These for the foundation of my permanent collection.
