Would it be considered bad taste to take my Jeep there instead of a car due to the height? Or maybe just park towards the back?

Thinking of the last time I went to a drive in I wasn't old enough to drive, so it's definitely been longer than 20 years.

Hell, I take a Ford Transit van with the mid-height roof. I just am careful to get there early enough that people can avoid being behind me. I also park toward the rear, so as to not cause too much of a problem. Of course, that van is full of kids, so I pay my fair share of admission fees. I doubt your Jeep is any taller than some of the pickup trucks that show up.

Centerbrook and Tibbs are both great. They both have new LED digital projectors, too, and that makes a big difference. I think the snack shack and facilities are generally nicer at Tibbs. Also, the number of screens gives you lots of options.

I can only assume Clermont's closed down? I guess it's been about 7 or 8 years since we've been there. :(

Yep, sad to say that it has been closed for years. Part of it is an empty field and the other part is a parking lot. R.I.P. Clermont. It has given me a lot of memories.

Monticello still has a drive-in. We keep threatening to go, but never remember except during the winter when it's closed.

come to CenterBrook but carry and watch where your kids run/walk. For some reason needle users like to shoot up there and throw the used ones on the ground.

Back in the late 60s, my dad would take a twin bed mattress off one of our beds and put it on the luggage rack of our station wagon (after we got there of course) and us kids would lay up there and watch the movie.
