Any idea why officers (Capitol PD?) have what appear to be reflective white and red tape on the side of their Glock's slide?
Some of them have that anyway.

This picture bothers me. I hope if it were panned out, it would show 10 other guys in defensive positions.

The biggest threat to our country and our freedoms is the manipulation and control of information by the media and big tech. We had 7 months of burning, looting and murdering by liberals being portrayed as "peaceful protesting". The headlines and entire narrative would be different if an unarmed black woman and/or liberal was shot by police yesterday. Until information can be disseminated free from political bias, and until liberals are held to their own standards, we will never see a peaceful resolution.

Conservatism is under very open and direct attack; the propaganda machine is working effectively. Do we just roll over?

    This must be satire.

The flow of information has never been more decentralized in all of human history. Every smart phone is connected to a photojournalist.

The MSM may have a political agenda, but its influence grows more diluted every day. That dilution can be seen in the layoffs and RIFs.

The whole "that woman was unarmed" thing is easy to say after the fact.

That crowd that forced their way into the building didn't go through a security screening (like regular lawful visitors do) with metal detectors and x-ray machines.

When anyone can enter the building it's fair to assume they are all potentially armed.

And clearly hostile when they break doors and windows to gain access to the building.

It's not like she walked away from a official guided tour and got lost in an area where she wasn't supposed to be; while looking for the restroom.

Also isn't it sexist to assume that an unarmed woman is not a threat, when in the same situation an unarmed man would be considered a threat?

Yes, it would... because the headlines would say "How in the Hell Did a Liberal Black Woman Get that Far?"
Or the other possible headline "Liberal Black Woman Shot Across the Street from Capitol after she Threatens to Break In."

It's not satire at all, unfortunately. There is still a large portion of our population that gets its information from 'trusted sources" like CNN, NBC, etcetera. Twitter, FB and other social media platforms routinely censor conservatives and conservative viewpoints. Like it or not, propaganda from these sources is still very effective.

No one should wish death on anyone, but that lady was dumb. Stupidity doesn’t often carry so severe a consequence, but in this case it did. Being the vanguard in trying to breach a door isn’t the brightest idea.

Kind of like the 3 guys at the vanguard of the Kyle Rittenhaus attempted beat down?

I think it would show some staff members bringing additional furniture to block the door.

At least they had their guns on their person.
A few years ago during a shooting at the Canadian parlement the Master at Arms had to run to his office to go get his firearm to shoot the criminal.

That newly elected Congresswoman from Colorado who wanted to carry her Glock inside the Capitol wasn't that crazy.

People made fun of her saying "you don't need protection inside one of the most secured building in America".

Apparently the guy who sat at pelosi’s “borrowed” desk gave a radio interview. Said he’s not a thief, he somehow bled on an envelope so he took it and left a quarter as payment lol

Every smartphone is connected to a photojournalist maybe, but when the platforms for posting that "journalism" are selective in what they allow to be presented, the flow of information isn't really decentralized, is it?

Funny, I've spent the last 7 months watching certain groups proceed with burning, looting and rioting with impunity.

Just kidding, it's been a lot longer than 7 months if we go back to the Freddie Gray riots and people being given "space to destroy" by their local politicians and police.

We must not have been watching the same live feeds during these peaceful protests.

I watched several live feeds yesterday that were not censored.

Twitter is walking a dangerous path by suspending Trump's account, but there are other platforms... Parler (?) or others. Heck, reddit and the #chan ecosystem thrive.
