    Some folks are just not thick skinned enough for a gun forum.
    Not sure why this one rattled him as it is pretty tame here.

    I tried.....I failed.
    I my defense I only found the thread after it was locked :): I mean, that thread was tamer than the WML thread, and at least the OP there is willing to stick around and hear opposing viewpoints.

    I don't think you failed, some people just don't like hearing other viewpoints.

    I'm not really sure why he got butt hurt. Seriously though, stopping a dog attack with a pellet rifle? I've shot quite a few dogs, and I've never even considered a pellet rifle.

    Pit Bull haters take their hate seriously.
    I have met a few very cool pits but in my area not so much. The asshats that own them train them to follow suit. A few have been turned out or randomly dumped as they show being problematic. We have dealt with a few but a pellet gun. Ha. I have shot rabbits with a pellet rifle and they jump/take off and live. Same with Ferrell cats. Shows a total lack of understanding about ballistics etc.
