Trade in? That seems like blaspamey.
She's a girl, you know they always have to have something new and fashionable...
Guessing JG is against the Glock.
Understatement of the Year goes to Coach...
As I wait in my Bunker(better known as my lazy-boy) for fire to shoot out of my Laptop screen...
Seems like it would be a good shower gun. Does soap scum build up on the polymer?
Wouldn't know, I personally prefer Sigs... :dunno:

    I'm not against the Glock.
I've said SEVERAL times that they are great to shoot. They make excellent targets!
Why is a little scratch a big deal?:dunno: It is a gun they get scratched and show holster wear. It what happens.

Holster wear is one thing. A negligent scratch is something else.
The wear patterns in your Mustang's leather seat are one thing. Intentionally keying the door is another. Get it? ;)

Got everything but owning a Mustang. If it is not four wheel drive why bother. Why not shoot a Glock?:yesway:

Because they're too light, to square/blocky, too long of horrendously mushy trigger pull and I can't reach the functions one-handed.
Plus, I like steel. I like the SA trigger. And I like carrying cocked & locked.
    That cover your question? :)

I meant it like you did. They are great targets. If there is a suitable place to hang it along the berm. Why not shoot a Glock?

    It's just another scratch
after a year of shooting my STI looks like it went through both world wars.
Shoot them, do your best to wear them out. They are just tools after all.

Get tip for the women, maybe guys should use a spark plug feeler gauge :D

I don't even know what that is!

You use them to measure the gap on spark plugs, among other things.

A credit card or drivers license will usually work too, without scratching the gun.

Good to see a girl shooting a 1911, too bad more don't. A 1911 is not just an easy gun to shoot, it's an easy gun to shoot well.

Going to necropost on this thread for a reason. Just got my first 1911 a couple of weeks ago. Could not get it apart. Then I remembered jetgirl posted about using a hair barrett. Good thing I have a wife and daughter. It works great so I stole one for the cleaning kit.

    Thanks INGO.
