Ok my wife has gave me the go ahead to buy my first suppressor. Went to a local class 3 dealer he recommended a YHM phantom 7.62 QD and will through in the QD flash hiders for my AR and my .308 bolt gun which Ill have to have treaded for it. All for $500 plus tax. Sound like a good deal ? I know Ill loose a little suppresson using the 7.62 can on my AR but am wanting the most bamg for my buck ? Another question is do you guys who have firearms with suppressors are they realy worth it ? Thanks

Sounds like a great deal to me. having said that, I don't know what they usually go for.

As for suppressors in general, yes,yes and yes. I only have a .22 can so far. Love it! Planning on getting more ASAP.

Talk to corey. He will take care of you :D

And yes. So worth it. First time I fired my suppressed glock I think I pulled a facial muscle from grinning like a mad ejit.

Be warned, they are like black rifles/moisens. No matter how many you have, you always need ONE more. Even if every rifle you have is suppressed, and every rifle you plan to buy in the next year has a can waiting for it in the safe...

Yep, definately worth it! Sounds like you're getting a good deal. I've got my AR threaded for my SAS .30 cal can and it's still pretty darn quiet! I can shoot my .308 boltgun, AR and even my 13" barreled AC556 without ear protection with teh can on them.

Although I would love to sell him cans, after looking at my dealer price sheet, that price is sub-wholesale for a 7.62QD/FH and 2 additional FH's.

    I say BUY IT NOW!!!!

I love the YHM 7.62QD and even if it is the 2010 model, the only change for 2011 is some texture to the outside of the can.
