A thread to complement the cool stuff you MAKE thread. Show the cool stuff you REPURPOSE, maybe an as got photo and as finished photo and what you did.

I’ll kick it off with some old Cub 30# wheel weights that I transformed to 50# Kubota wheel weights by JB welding addition weight into them and giving them a fresh coat of paint, made some heavy SS washers and using SS acorn nuts for that added bling!

The boys were wanting to know what it was like to be city dogs so there was only one solution. Picked it up in Crown Point for $25. Was removed from Crown Point. Been wanting one for a while but not at +$100. After trying, the boy said they prefer being country dogs.IMG_1182.jpegIMG_1184.jpegIMG_1269.jpegIMG_1270.jpegIMG_7028.jpeg

Just adding a post to bring this thread back to the top.
I used to collect and restore Coleman lanterns and stoves. This one came to me in pretty terrible shape. It looked like it had a hard life and had rolled down a few mountains. I hand made the collar out of aluminum tubing and chose blue because I was getting tired of Coleman green. I bought it because it came with the heat dome. It will be one of our heat sources if we have a winter SHTF situation.

Wanted a bed slide for the truck, but not at the new price tag. Found a good used one and with a little elbow grease and leftover paint and new decals have a like new one. 2 pictures as how I bought it and 2 of the finished product.

    I like music.
Actually put this together for my daughter, but she said she didn't have room for it... so it's been in the dining room at the VFW for a while now. Probably gonna sell it.
    Magnavox console,
    AudioSource Amp 100 Stereo amp
    BluDento Blutooth receiver
    Polk Audio PSW10 sub
    Sony speakers (forget model)

Why do stereo speakers have to look hi-tech these days?
I like ones that look like furniture.
"They sure don't make 'em like they used to."

Old stone entryway into the house is now inside the addition and will be our bathroom. Brick walls inside, will have a sliding barn door type door.
Adding 1800 square feet to the house. I will have an actual gunroom !
Putting cedar shingles on the roof, will look like a small cabin when done.
    Don
    Gunroom?
Sounds like you're a threat to democracy... lol.
