It is up to the prosecution to overcome self-defense by a reasonable doubt, in this prosecution in Illinois, or any prospective prosecution in New Mexico.

I would assume it was based on analyzing the video under the eye of his training and experience. He might have reservations because your asking for the same type of opinion based on a few sentences in a MSM article.
