I am surprised that more guys have not chimed in here. I am right handed and mainly shoot righty - but also practice shooting lefty, especially with my hunting rifles.
I also have lefty holsters for my Glocks and my 1911's that I use when riding motorcycle so I can keep my right hand on the throttle and brake if necessary.
