    Hi Guys and Gals.

There was quite a large growd at the range again tonight, the lanes were all full when I got there at 5:45pm and the showroom had quite a few people looking over the guns and supplies so it was very busy for the employees.

    251-2X in 9mm and a 211-1X in .22 cal.

Ruth Williams shot a 194 in .22 cal.

    David Hersh shot a 186-6X in .38cal. and a 152 in .45 cal.

    Paul Stroud shot 172 and a 161 in 9mm.

Jennifer Sexton shot a 163-1X and 143-1X in .22 cal.

    Pepper Jackson shot a 154 and 127 in 9mm

Well we had another great night tonight, the range was full but we were able to get all of our lanes together so we were not spread out all over the place and everything went very well.
We were sorry Jennifer was unable to join us tonight, she was unable to get a baby sitter. But maybe next week.

Rob Voland was our winner tonight shooting a 235 in .22 cal. and a 193 in .45.

Ruth Williams was second with a 220-2X and a 194 in .22 cal., way to go Ruth, your getting better.

    Pepper Jackson shot a 195-1X and a 120-1X in 9mm.

Kevin Poe shot a 187-1X and 167-1X in .22 cal.

    David Hearsh shot a 186-1X in .38 cal. and a 178-1X in .45 cal.

    John Wilson shot 168 in 9mm and 144-1X in.40.

    Bob Behme shot a 101 and a 94 in 9mm.

    Wallace Pulley shot a 151 and 135 in 9mm.
    and
    P.M. Spalding shot a 75 and 38 in 9mm.

Great job everybody, see you all next week.

As a point of interest I happened to see a fully engraved Browning, Citori O/U 12 gauge shotgun in the rack on consignment tonight for the low, low price of $10,000.00 which is odd because I didn't see any on Gun Broker for over $3,000.00, but hey, who am I to say.

Take it easy in the snow and ice tomorrow.

We had another great night tonight and the range was full as it seems it always is.
We had seven shooters to shoot the match and Jennifer Sexton was able to join us tonight.
Ruth and her son were unable to join us tonight, they get quite busy some times.
But we had a good time with those who were there.

David Hearsh was high score tonight with 227-2X in .45 and 183 in .38.

John Wilson shot 199-1X and in .40 and 108 in 9mm.

Wallace Pulley shot 175 and 168 in 9mm.

    Bob Behme shot a 141 and 100 in 9mm.

    Jeremy Hinds shot a 140 and 125 in 9mm.
    and
Jennifer Sexton shot a 136 and 134 in .22 cal. Very consistant.

I think Pepper Jackson was disapointed with his score because he didn't turn in his targets but he was really more interested in shooting his new 9mm AR-15 and was very pleased with the results.

Great job everyone, see you next week.

Another great night, it was cold outside but it was cozy in the range.

We had five league shooters tonight along with all of the other shooters that were there.

David Hearsh was our top score tonight with 230 in .45cal.and 159 in .38.

    John Wilson shot a 200 in .40cal. and 125 in 9mm.

Wallace Pulley shot 176-2X and 144 in 9mm.

Jennifer Sexton shot 166 and 163 in .22 cal., very consistant.

Bob Behme shot 92 and 40 in 9mm.

Everyone had a good time and I look forward to seeing all of you next week.

I brought my Star BKM 9mm to the range tonight, it's a fine auto of the
1911 style and it fits my hand very well. It has an aluminum frame so it is very light and is easy to carry and is smallish in size.

I let Jennifer try out my red dot sighted Ruger 22/45 lite tonight to see if she could do better with a red dot. She was unaware that she could use a red dot for our matches so she may be shopping for one soon.

    Have a great week everyone.

    Hi guys and girls;

Hey Tom Dobbs was in the store today asking about his targets from this last Tuesdays shoot and Karen didn't know anything about them so she asked me.
I'm keeping the targets now because they were running out of room on the shelves behind the range counter and if you want any of them I'll have them with me next Tuesday.
    See you then.

Some of the shooters are trying out different guns and calibers each week and that's a good thing.

    See you next week.

    Hi everybody;

I want to let everyone know that I won't be at the match Tuesday evening because I'm having an operation on my right eye in the late afternoon time period and the surgeon wants me to be still until Thursday, so someone else, probably Gary will run the match this Tuesday night.

    Now for some great news.
I have been informed that the shooters from Naval Avaionics pistol league will be holding there matches on Wednesday evenings at BGF&R. There are about 20 regular shooters on their teams, so for those of you that want a more formal shooting experiance, here's your chance to be a part of their teams.
You can find more info on this at the BGF range counter. They have a flier posted there. They use a lot more ammo though.

OK, everybody have a great week and I'll see you again on the 22nd of April.

    Dan.

Well my operation went well and the pressure in my right eye is down so will see how it goes in the future.
The whole thing took just over an hour of surgery/recovery time and I'm doing fine.
Now if Eastgate Chrysler can find out what is wrong with my car, I'll be all set. It just quit on me going down the road last Friday and they still don't know what happened to it. Money, money, money.

    Hi guys and girls;

Well we had another slim night tonight, but hey it was a great evening to be outdoors doing something else.

I seem to remember when I was shooting with the Hoosier Hills team, that we took the summer off. But, I will continue to be here on Tuesday evenings for those who want to continue, but I may drop the prize because it doesn't seem fair to award a prize to the only shooter or two who showed up. Anyway, just a thought, we'll see how it goes.

Tom Dobbs shot a score of 242-1X and 205-1X in .22 cal.

Wallace Pulley shot a score of 211 in .45 and 206-1X in 9mm.

Well I'll be there next week, come and join us if you can.
    Have a great week everybody.
