I know that hey stuff happens thats just life. But Shooters should make sure to shoot at a downward angle or better yet use a hill or stump as a backstop.

the most interesting statement to me..

In the article the most interesting statement that I read was:

"He said the firing range historically has closed during the fair."

My question is of course: Why was that?

Zoub, presuming people guilty? What are you . . . the thought police?:D
    Random thoughts:

I presume nothing except that you seem to be setting up a "Law of physics defense" where I say cop with gun and tempting targets..........we must keep an open mind here. He was just one hippie away from the next arts and crafts Kent State. :shoot:

Hippie hit in the head will have a hard time proving any substantial "damages." Civil damages yes, "PTSD man, PTSD. I have to smoke pot to stop the headaches man."

PS: Oh christ I just had a childhood flashback, the Hare Krishna's running around at LaX trying to sell their flowers and bibles or whatever they were. Cops never shot Krishna's and now I wonder why?

We tried that at my uncle's out in the country...shooting into a hill and the darn things were causing long skid marks in the ground and skipping off, hitting the tree line behind it, taking out small branches.:) It looked like someone spent the entire afternoon practicing their driving at golf.:):
We were shooting .233 and 7.62x54r rounds.
