    I didn't do that one but did pinch my finger trying to get the slide to stay locked that little bugger is small if you have big hands
    That little bugger of a slide stop is awful even if you have small/medium hands. It took me lots of time and energy to figure out how to get mine to push up.. I did however manage to get the takedown pin out and in, also struggled with that a little (flathead screwdriver for the win)

    would have bee nice to get that on video
    came home with my new Ruger LCP today... took it down, cleaned out all of the factory oil n dirt.... put it back together, racked the slide, released it, and sent my slide flying into my computer monitor, and spilled a bottle of water. Good thing my roomate was there to see the whole thing.
    Turns out that take down pin needs to go BACK into the gun before its ready to rock! haha OOPS. +1 for my glock not having takedown pins.

    1911's are famous for having the front spring shoot out. I know I saw some threads in the past on different forums dedicated to people getting hit in the face and drawing blood from their 1911 recoil spring.
