    As well, Trying to lay in as many supplies as I can afford. Both ammo and reloading,
    Also took up bullet casting a couple years ago, Danged if they did not raise the price of lead.

    Price of copper has gone through the roof. Other metals are crazy high too. Add that in with other costs and we have gun control through unaffordable ammo.

    Five pistol calibers, eight rifle calibers, other than .22 rimfire I haven't bought factory ammo in over a decade. Only the .223's get the evil jacketed bullets.

    I heard this the other day as well. Price for components (and I assume factory ammo) going up about 15% in May. Didn't think a lot of it till now. I might take the opportunity to buy a few more cartridges for the summer shooting season.

    ATK (federal) listed price increases of 8 to 15 percent on ALL lines of Ammo.

    The days of cheap ammo ($89.00 per 1000rds 0f 7.62x51 surplus) are long gone.

    Buy what you can, when you can, and remember today's prices will seem cheap in the future.
