All my Levi's in loose or bootcut have deep enough pockets for me to carry my LCP in a pocket holster in the front pocket with no trouble. I would imagine their relaxed fit and carpenters would have close to the same size pockets.

    Life in the Big Samoke!

Did you check farm stores around you? (Like Rural King, TSC, Big R, etc...)

Unfortunately this is the BIG CITY and the nearest farm stores are some distance from here! There is a TSC up in Carmel that I go past sometimes during the workday, I'll try that. Thanks Annie! :)

Go to Kohls and check out the Lee Dungaree Carpenter jeans. Been wearing them for several years now. They're comfortable and pretty lightweight which is good for warmer weather but bad for durability.

They are a little expensive but built well and lifetime guaranteed. I just measured the pocket on a some of mine and from the bottom corner to the opening is 10" and they are wide. They are comfortable and built tough so to me they are worth a little extra. They are thick so they will be hotter then most jeans. I would like to get some of the shorts to wear.

I have a couple of pair of Riggs carpenter jeans (Wrangler sub brand), and they might do the trick. They are reasonably priced and can be found at several places, Dicks sporting goods off the top of my head.
You may just wanna go down to Mooresville to Wards Apperal. If you can't find the right pair of Jeans there, then it may not exist.
