Just thought I would share my experience of getting my LTCH laminated.

Went to Mail Boxes Etc in Nora and was expecting funny looks and what not, but the gentleman working the counter let me know he also had his and we shared stories of how long it took to get (3 months for me, 6 for him). Guess I am not in as much of a minority as I thought.

We are not in a minority in this state. I never got any negative feedback getting mine laminated, even before the lifetime came out. This is a very gun friendly state. Having been stationed in CA twice while in the military let me assure you there are states that are very not gun friendly.

I laminated mine at work, what would be the advantage of taking somewhere like Mailboxes etc? Thanks

The only funny look is the look of disgust at how PINK it is.
I'd also suggest people copy and reduce it by 10% or so; fits in wallet better.

Walmart sells Scotch brand Business Card Protectors that work really well for laminating the LTCH.

    Here
I did mine at FEDEX/Kinkos in Greenwood. It was at their do-it-yourself kiosk. I don't know how durable the lamination of the other places are but this is great. Very hard and durable (thats what she said...)

I did mine at the Greenfield KINKOS and same thing, I was expecting a funny look, hwoever, as soon as I pulled out the pink piece of paper and before saying anything, the woman said, "make sure you've signed it..." Guess she's had a bit of experience with them.

The man at the greenwood Kinkos that performed mine had alot of questions on what he needed to get his. I filled him in, he thanked me, i left. It was a very nice encounter.

    No to Greenwood Kinko's.
They refused to make copies of mine. Said they were instructed not to.
Staples on the other hand made copies and laminated no talk, just did it.

I purchased the thermal sealing lamination pouches from walmart and sealed them without a machine. I think the thermal sealing is more durable than the self-sealing pouches.

I took a dishtowel and folded it in half, slipped my ready-to-be-laminated LTCH between the folds, heated up my iron and applied the heat. As long as you apply enough pressure, it seals it up really well.

This way you can laminate more than just one or two copies without paying too much. I'm not sure how much it costs to get them laminated at Kinkos or what not, but those pouches are only like $4.
