I can't comment on the coffee or food, I don't eat gun & knife show food. Lafayette is usually 225 to 250 tables.....just a tick smaller than the Kokomo show.

    Tell me about the show----food?

I usually hit Shellie's. I do oatmeal and a veggie omelette. Shellie?s Café ? Lafayette Eats

However, Lafayette has a lot of great places for breakfast.

I come from downtown so usually Fuel, but Lafayette is awash in coffee joints. I prefer Fuel.

Fuel - a coffee shop downtown in Lafayette, Indiana - Espresso, quiche, bagels and spicy hot chocolate - Home to the Dirty Ivan

    Size of show?

    225. Bring a flashlight. It's hot or cold, but that is ok, the only way to lose is not to play.:D

Another thumbs up for Shellie's Cafe'.
The biscuits and gravy are great, and the staff is warm and very efficient.

    Never know about Lafayette.
It is hit or miss, but I have found some fantastic deals at some of the shows. Others, not so much.
    Looking forward to it.
    I always enjoy it regardless.

I think I will be stopping by once I get home and cleaned up after work Saturday am. Also, a third on Shellie's and a second for Fuel. Love those Dirty Ivans.

You will not need a flashlight. The building has all new lights and is one of the brightest venues that I go to.

My brother and I go there every time we go to the Lafayette gun show. I suspect their business spikes whenever an event occurs across the street, but gun show goers probably eat more!

    *whistles* Maybe. *kicks rocks*

You'll finally get to see some AdV Tactical knives if you ask him nicely!

Now I know what I'm having.

    What's Dirty Ivan?

You do realize the impact of telling Freeman to not do something, right?:D

See you there with two flashlights.

    Why only two?

Came home with a couple of loading blocks, 1k large pistol primers, a set-screw gas block, and a smile on my face.

I made it there shortly before closing yesterday. I had time to wave at the other dave as I went by and then hit Brad's table for some oogling, fondling, and drooling. Over knives. KNIVES. There are some very spiffy new Spydercos.

Made a pre-planned purchase and then had to leave about when they were shutting-down.

Not many people there, which is not great for the vendors, but it made parking close to the entrance super easy.
