Kouts police car stolen...?

Just got a text from the wife. I guess Valpo PD came into work and told her that someone has stolen a Kouts Police car and to lock the doors.

Anyone heard this?

I guess Kouts will need a new squad car. According to the news reports they only had one.

They found the car at 6:30am with all the guns still in it. The escapee is still at large.

He was heard on the police radio before he ditched the car asking the dispatcher where the handcuff key was and also where the cigarette lighter was.

So did he slip out of the handcuffs? Handcuffed in the front? I'm trying to wrap my head around this one. How small is Kouts that they only have 1 police car?

I saw this on the news this am. I am happy the car was recovered with all the weapons. I understand that this has the potential to be a dangerous situation but I can't help thinking this is the ultimate Barney Fife moment!
