Well after everything that could go wrong went wrong we finally made it up here. WE NEED to pick better hotels.

Looking forward to the show, we got the Magpul DVD's we'll be watching and the Xbox with come call of duty! the kid and Ill will be playing while MrsG does all the work.

Kokomo show is small, but deals can be found. I've bought several things at Kokomo gun shows.

Doesn't the trident, HK USP in 45, leatherman, spare batteries and My USA made surefire, and a few other tacticool things, negate the sweet tea????

Probably will be on the fenix lights usually lots of chinese made stuff floating around.

After you pay to enter then you can come and go as many times as you need to as long as your hand has been stamped. Pay your $5 and get hand stamped its that easy.

Just got back. Started raining when I left.
Everyone looked pretty busy talking but not too packed.
Standard gunshow pricing abound.

Why does it seem that the more beat up a gun is the value seems to increase?

Oh well, never a bad day looking at guns.

My son and I just got back. We had a good time, despite some crabby old **** lecturing us about kids touching guns being an ATF violation, DESPITE MY KID NOT TOUCHING HIS GUNS! Funny how when one is deferential to people like that they treat you more poorly and then follow up with, "I'm not just trying to give you a hard time, but..." (The more I apologized for something my son didn't do, the more red this guy got.) The joke in our group the rest of the show was, "Son, don't touch that or we're all going to jail..."

On a positive note, I did chat with the Tactical Shotgun people and Brad from Brad's Knives -- very cool folks! And some other vendor gave my son and my friend's son a US flag pin, which was much appreciated.

While we didn't pick up any guns or ammo, I got a kick ass "Don't Tread on Me" long sleeve t-shirt, a Don't Tread on Me car flag and a 25th Infantry Division subdued Tropic Lightning patch for my son. My dad was a 25ID combat veteran from Korea so that was a real score for us.

I looked at a Blackhawk Serpa holster at Tactical Shotgun's booth, but decided I wanted an IWB and got a good recommendation from the lady I talked to, which was much appreciated.

Lastly, I talked to the ZX Guns guys from Goshen. They had some great deals on Glocks and XDs, but I am still shopping around. I'm sure I will talk to them again, hopefully soon!

Best show I've ever been to? No. Great way to spend three hours on a Saturday? Heck yes.

p.s. I talked to Kokomo Dave, too. Didn't want to make him feel left out!
