My Spyderco Paramilitary 2 "Murdered Out Edition" arrived today from Blade Matrix. I let it stab my deck, and now it's going back in to the box until I finish my MBA in the next couple months; it's a graduation present from myself to myself. Here it is with the knife I carry, Spyderco Calypso Jr.

My neighbor was mowing at the time but I managed to snap the photo while his head was behind the PM2. No photo bomb

The new Gunny Hunter from Bark River. CPM 3V and curly birch burl with white liners. I love the hand filling grip and the look of this blade.

Bark River just did a batch of Gunnys in 3V, but with a convex scandi grind. I think I need one . Might have to go with wood handles and a different color liner like you did with that one

Trader that might just be a perfect woods bumming blade. I love scandi's and 3v and the gunny is a great blade to begin with. I'm might have to grab one also!

Bark River just did a batch of Gunnys in 3V, but with a convex scandi grind. I think I need one . Might have to go with wood handles and a different color liner like you did with that one

The Gunny is available in a variety of grinds and handle materials so that anyone should be able to find one that they like. That Scandivex looks sweet.

Managed to find a Microtech Combat Troodon. It's funny when you're trying to find a certain knife, it's sold out everywhere. Before my search I feel like I would see them everywhere. I'm sure the fact that several states are legalizing automatics didn't help.
Anyway, it's a satin finish/plain dagger edge in S35VN steel and I am totally in love with this thing!! I've always loved Microtech's satin finish on a blade and this really is fantastic. I had originally snatched up a stonewashed bowie from the same dealer but sent them an email almost immediately asking to switch to the satin dagger. I'm so glad I did. Enough with the blah blah, on to pics...
