    say it ain't so brother. I love me some scandi bushcraft blades too but they will never fill the void in your heart like a big beastly chopper sir.

    I have always leaned towards the big ass choppers, and still love them. Here lately, I've been packing a smaller scandi, and using a hawk for heavier chopping task. That said, if I were dropped out of an airplane onto a desert island with one tool, no doubt it would be a big ass chopper or machete.

    ^ Very nice. I'm finding myself shying farther away from the choppers, and more into the scandi bushcraft stuff.

    I wish I could say that, but right now lashed to my pack is my ESEE Junglas! I love a good scandi grind, but a big chopper is just too much fun to leave at home! I usually take both.

    nice score brother. I like the looks of it just wasn't sure it would fit my hand or not. how would it work as a necker?

    It works great as a necker. It doesn't print at all. I wore it all day sunday and even used it for shaving small sticks and twigs. I think Beef did a pretty good sharpening job at the factory :yesway:
