My buddy is picking up a shotgun this weekend, and we plan on going to Kingsbury to shoot clays. I understand that we are to bring our own clay pigeons.

However, do they provide the launchers or should I buy a cheap one before I head over there?

I have never been clay shooting before and neither has he, so I really don't know the protocol. Most I ever used by HD shotgun for was to fire a few shells to make sure it worked.

    Advice is appreciated.

Yep....they do have throwers, nice ones that you stick in a pipe in the cement and sit on the attached seat. It costs $4.00 to shoot there, remember to bring ear plugs. The shooting range is well regulated, but on the trap range you are on your own. They have wagons there to haul your stuff and to tote the thrower. You park across the street from the range.

Cool. I have never done the clay shooting thing. No particular reason just never did. I will probably be there all morning because I will miss most of the time.
