As to the 22WMR vs 5.7, I find that hard to believe. In other comparisons the 22WMR matches the performance in energy of a .380 . How we get to 5.7 punch from .380 energy seems a biiiiiiiig stretch.

Just looked up 5.7x28 ammunition prices. $1.87 per round would be a huge turn off and they say they aren't easy to reload.

This isn't a good time to get into a new caliber unless you see a lot of it laying around.

It seems that the caliber is trying to become more popular with manufacturers again. If it continues than hopefully they will start producing more ammo and bring the price down. I've got 3 guns in this 5.7 (FN 57, PS90 and an AR57) and got lucky a while back. PSA was selling it for $16 a box for FN and $15 for american eagle. I stocked up really well at that point.

It’s a Kel-Tec, they announced it in 2020 and you’ll see the first one in a shop around 2024!
