This gun was worth every penny imo. I sold 500rds of 5.56xm193 and in turn was able to buy 3240rds of 5.45!!!!

5.45 is "the poison" bullet. If you don't know what i'm talking about, just research it. I may not know a ton about aesthetics or accessorizing a lot of combat style long guns, but ballistics are something i know a lot about from college physics classes and a few classes in homeland security. That little 5.45 bullet will cause some massive internal damage. The reviews are 100% accurate.

Shot it at BGF yesterday and I LOVE IT! Absolutely no recoil and dead nuts accurate.
Cant wait until the ammo gets here.
Its def my SHTF long gun

5.45 comes in waves as they are imported. You can still find it available now online (use AmmoSeek or Gunbot) for about $.18 per round.

Thats such a huge plus to owning a 74 or 5.45 variant. When they become available again at a decent price, i'll def be picking up a 5.45 upper for one of my AR's.

Even though the 7n6 surplus ammo is corrosive, it only takes 10 more minutes of cleaning. Well worth it, plus, according to review, you can't get a better 5.45 round than 7n6 other than a match grade hornady
