I will be depending on all of you registered republicans to keep Dan Coats out.
Crap, I have to be a registered R to keep Dan Coats out?

There is a Libertarian primary of sorts. The party has a convention and doesn't use tax dollars to conduct party business.
Esentially, if you are neither a R or D and want to vote against the tax increase referendums in your area, you are forced to lie in order to gain access to a ballot. Hell of system we got here.
You can ask for an issues & school board only ballot.

Do you have to be a registered R to vote for R, or you just have to be registered to vote?
There is no party registration in Indiana, but taking a ballot for any given party in Indiana is an agreement to vote for a majority of that parties candidates in the general election.Do you have to be a registered R to vote for R, or you just have to be registered to vote?
Not in the primary, it isn't. That's party business, not civic duty. You can vote for self interest if there's a referendum on the ballot that might raise your taxes.I voted. It is your civic duty to vote.
If you are choosing to vote in the gop primary. Ask for a dem ballot if you're voting for dems and a school board ballot if you're choosing to vote for neither and just want to address the school board and any issues on the ballot.thats it just ask for rep ballot?
Turn out is low,Come on people i voted at 2:30 and was only the 114th voter.
