When the flying pieces stop moving after this election, to the extent that Hillary Clinton has political capital to spend on gun control, repealing the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms legislation cited in this case (which basically stopped the Newtown suit cold) will be JOB ONE for her. She said it in the previous debate. She wants to sue gun makers out of business.

To find a manufacturer "Liable" and drive them out of business, all you need is a group of emotionally-susceptible jurors who "feel for the children" and want to get the trial over, so they can go back to binge-watching Tee Vee shows.

And best of all, if your case fails, it doesn't set any precedent! You just wait for the next shooting, seat another jury, and try again. Rinse / lather / repeat. Each manufacturer only needs to lose once. And there will be more and more chances, because every day, mommies and daddies uninvolved in their disturbed childrens' lives drive-through CVS and pick up more "happy pills," ensuring a fresh supply of monsters to commit the acts.
