Today is a great day. I just saw the trailer for Joe Dirt 2. The original is one of my favorite movies and it looks like the sequel is gonna be more of the same!

Because of how well "the interview " did I imagine. Plus it is a big enough name movie that it will greatly up the usage of Crackle. With the advances of home entertainment systems, movie theatres as we know them are on their way out.

maybe, but you can't replace the movie theater experience in a home. I can do with out the super expensive tickets and extra crap, but the experience I like.

Because a big studio would not make the movie and put the money in it to get it into theaters.

    Yep
I also agree that I don't like the price of a movie ticket, but some movies are greatly enhanced by a theater experience in a way that the biggest HDTV and sound system still can't touch.
Some off the top of my head that definitely were in the enhanced category:
    Liar! Liar
    Star Wars (A New Hope)
    The Empire Strikes Back
    Titanic
    Cast Away
    Jurassic Park

Today is the day. Just finished watching and I'd be lying if I said it didn't crack me up.

Plus, that Brandy is a FOX!

    Anyone else watch it yet?

Anymore, I only go to a theater to see a movie I really, really want to see that I think the big screen will enhance. So I've seen maybe 10 or 12 movies in theaters the last 5 years.

Back BK and BLS (before kids and before law school, 1992-1995), my wife and I went to movies every other Friday and rented something the other Fridays. Saw some good movies back then. I want to say that even on Fridat nights we were paying around $4.50 each.
