at first when I started carrying my 1911, I would have the hammer back but not a round in the chamber. I did this for about a week and felt much more comfortable and now there is always one in the chamber.

If I recall correctly Spetsnaz does not carry sidearms loaded...

If I remember right the Holster for the Makarov is called something like, EFA-2...

From what I've heard about those Spetsnaz guys, they could carry their sidearms detail-stripped and still kill you with it before you had any idea what was happening.

Gross. I watched the video of the "gun gripe" guy and had a strong flashback to a post a while back on here where a member accidentally shot his autoloading pistol while holding the slide. It ripped a big chunk out of his hand.

Although I don't always agree with Yeager (contrary to popular belief), I can't argue with his feelings on empty chamber carry.
