Umm... The original DB5 made an appearance in Casino Royale and he drove a V12 Vanquish in that movie.

It was a DBS V12 not a Vanquish.

Don't think they care what Ian Fleming wrote. Daniel Craig IIRC has commented that it would be good to have a gay Bond. We are getting off track here and will be moderated soon.

We already had a gay Bond. He was called Roger Moore.

Back to topic, if they wanted to be true to the "spirit" of Bond's gun choice, they would have issued him Sig P229 in 40 or 357 sig. Remember, in the movie Dr. No the reason they issued him the Walther was because he was carrying an underpowered gun and wanted him to use what the Americans were using.
