Is it aluminum? I don't think that this fell from the sky (like aircraft) because unless it were lightweight plastic, it would have been driven down into your yard. It could have be set down by remnants of a tornado though, ... stranger things have happened during wind storms. I'm wondering if you've had some contruction or other service trucks in your area ... any meter readers etc ??? It may have fell off a truck.

Before dark, I found a dent in the garden soil. I think it landed in the garden and bounced onto the grass. It had some dirt that matched the garden on the back side. I brushed it off before putting it on the driveway.

    Weird man...

Reminds me of the 1.5 ft long rock in my back yard. Found it there, wasn't moved there by kids (too heavy for the little ones in the neighborhood) and doesn't flood enough for it to have been moved there.

Convinced I have a space egg in my yard. That and I have to mow around it, I ain't gonna move that, I've seen The Blob AND Critters. Ain't touching crap...

Funny! Reminds me of a pal of mine who was trying to grow a ginkgo tree.
The poor thing was only 18 inches tall and had only about 8 of those
distinctly shaped leaves on it. One day while riding around in Jeffersonville, IN
in the fall, I spotted a ginkgo that was dropping it's leaves (which are
beautiful pure yellow). I stopped, filled up a trash bag with these leaves
and returned to my friend's home in Otisco, IN, and buried his sapling with the leaves
(there was no other ginkgo in his neighborhood). I told him about it about
    a year later.

The space station was visible last night at 9:01? Maybe they're missing a toilet ring or sumfin?

Could there be any connection to this?Mysterious Whale-Sized Object Falls From Sky Over Connecticut

Posted by Staff on Apr 13th, 2012 // No Comment

As if the recent UFO sighting on a South Korean flight wasn’t enough, now a state trooper and a motorist in Litchfield, Connecticut have reported seeing a glowing object fall from the night sky into the local body of water, Litchfield Lake.
The object which fell from the sky apparently emitted a green glow and was as large as a whale.
The odd thing about this incident isn’t the fact that something is reported as both unidentified and falling from the sky, but the fact that the two people that reported the incident were ten miles away from each other and did so at roughly the same time.
The unidentified civilian who reported the object falling was driving on the road at about 2 A.M. It was ten miles away in Warren that the state trooper is reported to have called in seeing something fall out of the sky and land near Bantam Lake. Both eyewitnesses have very similar stories for a UFO sighting.
Morris rescue workers and emergency personnel have taken a boat into the lake but have so far have found nothing significant.
The only party that might hold an answer is the National Weather Service. A meteor shower was reported to have happened last night and what the two individuals saw may have simply bene a meteor entering the atmosphere only to burn up into something too small to find.

Babbling mother of Hillery! It was you. This incident generated a Dropped Object Investigation and a Safety Down Day. We grounded the entire fleet of KC-135s and A-10s. We spent thousands of man-hours trying to figure out which plane lost this mysterious part. Crew Chiefs and Specialists will curse your for ever being born. :xmad::xmad::xmad: A pox on your futon, for you!

Probably part of North Korea's exploded rocket. Send them a letter holding it for ransom. You want two military rifles. One for you and one for me for thinking of the idea. :D

    [STRIKE]Update in OP[/STRIKE]

Too old to update the OP

Took the item to a customer that works with non ferrous metals. He told me it is an aircraft grade alumium, but doubts it fell from an airplane

He showed me the saw cuts on the ends that means it was cut from tube stock. He said it was expensive but thinks it was a sleeve of some type.

He did not rule out it was from alien manufacture. NO markings were found on the part under magnification. He even checked it for radiation and it was safe.

I let him keep the part.
