I was just reviewing my e-mail and received a spam message from my mom's e-mail account, which has been dormant for over a year, and apparently has been hacked. Between the telephone numbers and methods of internet access available, it appears that the only way I could manage to contact those useless MFSBs is to set up a new AOL account. Under the circumstances, I feel like finding the address of the AOL corporate headquarters, having the text of mom's death certificate transferred onto a shovel handle, travelling to the aforementioned address, and shoving it up someone's posterior. That said, I am open to less dramatic suggestions.

This looks like an interesting solution. It appears technical enough that I will probably have to get some help, but thanks for a good answer!
All you need, ultimately, is to get the headers of your message. If I'm not mistaken they have guides on SpamCop.net on how to do this with various mail clients but, if not, drop me a PM and let me know what mail client you use (such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Outlook 2010, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc...) and I'll try and find a guide for you.

You mean people are still using AOL? Yikes!

We had them for a short while probably 13 years ago. Figured out pretty quick they blew. It took months to get rid of them completely. Talk about jumping through hoops.
