Wait, so now we are expecting other countries with their own legal/constitutional authority to adhere to our constitution? And then when said country does not adhere to our constitution, we compare the entire country to a large city in the US that continually refuses to adhere to its own constitution?

I guess what we need is a one world government with the US Constitution as its governing document.

Not sure how their self-defense laws are, but i know a lot of folks over there have some IDF Krav Maga training. Not saying this is an acceptable alternative to CCW, but at least it appears they have some options.

I don't know why you are all such whiners. Chicago is great! The safe parts are a lot of fun. Not dangerous at all. If you want some real live training, you just can't beat the dangerous parts of Chicago -- without traveling very far anyway, possibly to another part of the world. After spending all that time at the range, don't you want to know if you can actually walk the walk?

Does Israel operate under the U.S. Constitution? No. Is the Second Amendment part of the Israeli Constitution? No.

Israel isn't Chicago. Mental health records are prohibited from being access, by the liberal-loon democRATS it should be noted, for backgound checks. Yet, these SAME democRATS continually demand UBC's while prohibiting access to the information that might actually be of (at least) SOME use in making a determination.

Bringing up the gun laws of Israel as, somehow, demonstrative that Israel is "just as bad as Hamas / Palastine" should then require that one ALSO list the gun laws of Palestine / Hamas, and 'show' how the Palestine gun laws are 'superior' for the non-terrorist Palestinian. Where are those links?

Israel has mandatory military service, but the U.S. does not, as well. So? UNLIKE the U.S. Liar-In-Chief, Israel is certainly taking definitive action against terrorists attacking their country. What 'action' has the Liar-In-Chief taken? Released 5 top terrorist leaders back onto the battlefield, allowing them to perpetrate even more attacks against 'his' country. Refused to close the southern border, where ANY illegal, terrorist or otherwise, can walk right in to 'his' country. Provided terrorists 'rights' under the U.S. Constitution and Fourth Geneva Convention, rights to which NO terrorist is entitled.

Therefore, there is NO 'equivalency' between the two nations regarding firearms.

And, as noted, Israel is freer than ANY other nation in the Middle East.

Not to thread jack, but I found it interesting on the Wiki site linked by the OP, the following about the Czech Republic:
Main article: Gun politics in the Czech Republic
Gun ownership in the Czech Republic is regulated by liberal gun laws compared to the rest of Europe. Generally, handguns in the Czech Republic are available to anybody above statutory age with a clean criminal history who passes tests about firearms legislation, weapon knowledge and first aid, and a medical inspection (which may optionally include psychological test).Gun ownership is also acceptable for self-defense purposes. Unlike most European countries the Czech gun laws allow its citizens to carry a concealed weapon without having any specific reason.Sport shooting is the third most widespread sport in the country (after football (soccer) and ice hockey).

Sounds like after years of opressive Soviet rule, they relish their new freedoms. Will be interesting to see if their gun laws tighten over time.

I ask you, will it be easier to take over an armed USA or an unarmed USA? OK, now will it be easier to take over an armed Israel or an unarmed Israel?

This situation exists in Israel today: Those wanting Sharia Law in Israel infiltrate the government and gets certain Laws changed in the favor of those who wish to destroy Israel.

This situation exists in the USA today: Those wanting Socialist/Communist/Sharia Law in the USA infiltrate the government and gets certain Laws changed in the favor of those who wish to destroy the USA.

I can not see why the Free People of the USA should not support Israel in their Fight for Freedom. Would we do this because of Israel firearm laws? That should add fuel to the Fires of Freedom in every heart of Liberty Loving Men & Women everywhere.
