I see them most valuable for the home. Say someone breaks in your home while you are sleep. You wake up to the noise, and throw on your molly vest. You can have your pistol, mags, phone, light, etc. all in one place. If you do have to engage a threat, now you have a level of protection. I also see it as a good idea if you are going to be in a bad area you are unfamiliar with. Again it gives you that extra level of protection.

How would that look to a Jury?

Just something else to think about.

I have worn a level III at the range, for 2 reasons, a little more peace of mind on the range and to practice with it on. Level III usually is a little stiffer and can adjust your arms moving up/forward.

If you have it, its not a bad idea to wear it at the range. There is sure to be gun fire at the range, bullets will be flying. There is never a guarantee that a bullet will not come your way, either directly from a gun or as a ricochet.
