Look closely at the center picture, that is a rudder sticking up. Huey's use a rotor not a rudder. Also same picture, just below of verticle, sticking out to the left. Sure looks like an elevator all beat up.

Ther other pictures may be correct but that center picture doesn't belong to the wreckage.

Good catch! I work on helicopters for a living and worked on Hueys for 4 years and didn't even catch that.

I loved Hueys I always felt safe in one. The pilot's had funny stickers on the back of their helmets. The seat by the crew chief /gunner was my favorite. We would often hover about 10-15 ft above the ground throw a rucks out then jump off the skids.

Oh to be young again!
