General Odierno, [former] commander of forces in Iraq, recently stated that it was clear Iran is funding insurgents in Iraq to destabilize any progress made to further a democracy within the country. My question: at what point does the US take aim at Iran? Does Ahmadinejad need to physically take a sh*t on Obama's desk to get him to react?

The Iranians have been doing this since the Invasion in 2003. We've got the evidence in captured equipment and personnel, but, apparently, we don't want to take the chance on starting another shooting war when we're already over-extended - personnel-wise.

I believe it's the first time an [active] commanding General has done a "road show" on major network TV (he was on Fox News this morning) and stated the fact. It actually makes me wonder if the administration is starting to get a clue and actually sent the general to begin planting the seed among the public that we may have to use something a little more threatening than harsh words. Then again, that would be giving this administration too much credit.

Hmm, It'd be nice to have a country right next door to Iran to tie their hands with the threat of war so both countries are pretty much gridlocked worrying about each other rather than anyone else. Oh wait.... nevermind.
