Unlike firearms, which may be situational, your personal BOB (Baggie Of Bacon) should ALWAYS be carried concealed.

Open carrying bacon WILL make you the first target.

This is actually a really good list. With the introduction of sub compact guns the lines between compact and full size are skewed. Always a compromise between size, weight and power. Personally I think a person needs a couple guns for different purposes. Mine currently include:

Glock 23 in a Comp-Tac Minotaur carried IWB at 4 o'clock or Don Hume JIT
Taurus 850 UltraLite in a Mika or Uncle Mike's pocket holster. Just depends on the shape of the pocket in the pants I wear.

I voted for the snubby. I carry that concealed while at work and have a full size 1911 OC. When I am not at work, I carry a full size 1911 concealed or open, depends on what I'm doing.

My EDC is a Glock 30. Yes it's a bit thicker and heavier than a 26/27, but I love .45 and the weight has never bothered me enough to want to switch.
