.. especially considering the mod who gave me the infraction is a "friend" of mine.

Also keep in mind that infractions are issued when clear-cut rules were violated, so we issue them completely impartially.

What kind of Mod would I be if I let my "friends" off the hook and only 'infracted' everyone else?

I would seriously think twice about giving infractions to someone named MACHINE GUN!
He might show up to a gathering.

    "And this is ModeratorNumerThree..."

    BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM

    "Err, was moderator ..."

[the story above is fictitious and any resemblance to actual trigger-happy mods OR gun owners is purely coincidence]

Honestly even "warning" sounds too harsh. They're more "structured reminders" that carry a bit more authority than PMs.

So a smack on the back of the head is a structured reminder? To my kids they are usually considered an attitude adjustment or memory jogger... :dunno:

No, an infraction is a structured reminder, which was likened to a smack on the back of the head.

Did yours not adjust your attitude and jog your memory? :D

    ACTUALLY....

The MGD and Hennessy gave me an attitude adjustment and kinda devistated my memory. The Infractions just puzzled me. :D

The lesson: Next time just take me out for some drinks and we'll all be a lot more happy!
