One of the fondest memories of my mother was a situation like this, my mom was a few feet away, I was standing by the road and some jackleg in a big chevy truck hit a puddle, completely drenched me.
My mom laughed so hard she could breathe, I do this to people at times, I guess I should have put a "maybe" option.
I would never do that intentionally, though I do recall years ago that happening in the spring when all the snow was melting. I was driving to school, minding my own business (long before cell phones) and hit some water pretty hard. Again, never intended to soak anyone, but we were both at the same place and at the same time.
I have to admit that I experienced some strong ambivalence looking back in my rear-view. I mean, I felt totally sorry for the guy and I wouldn't have done it purposefully but, at the same time, it was all I could do not to laugh hysterically at it.
that has happened to me when i was on my bike(motorcycle), and let me tell you tell you, i did not find it amusing. but i guess it was karma for some of the stupid stuff i did as a kid.
I attempted to lightly spray my father in law's pontoon boat with a Jet Ski once. I totally drenched it and all 10 people on board. My FIL was so mad. One of my finer moments.
its only fun if you do it while "hunting". if you see people running from puddles as cars go by so they dont get sprayed, then you have to try and sneak up on em and get em while they arent looking. no fun if you do it to someone who doesnt even move.
we have had a good bit of rain here on the campus of IU Bloomington in the last couple weeks, seen that happen to a few groups of innocent students walking down the sidewalk.
