Information On Getting LTCH

My wife is wanting to get her LTCH . She do's not drive , so has no DL , but has a Indiana State Issued ID . Will this work for her to get LTCH ?

That depends.
Have you any "record". If so, you will be delayed, but not necessarily denied.
It will take much longer if you snail-mail your application than it will if you go the L1 route.
If you apply for a "permit" in Indiana, you're going to be disappointed.

I've called it a permit for 30 years. My concern was delays because of recent past interest in new LTCH's. I'm retired, I go to the police station.

Yes, the In Indiana I.D. will serve as an acceptable alternative to the drivers license. It was introduced to provide valid I.D. to those who, for whatever reason, cannot or will not obtain a drivers license.

All that is required is a state ID. The number in the ID is the same number she will use if she ever gets a DL.

As of Wednesday, they were on permits applied on Apr 9th. So three months behind as of then.
