Info on Ammoclearance.com and LeadHead Ammo

I came across their site as well and in doing my due diligence I came across this thread.

Any word on how legit they are? Is it a safe bet to place an order, or should I spend a little more elsewhere to insure I receive the order?

How does the ammo shoot? Myself and some others are looking to pick up some 115gr 9mm. Mostly to be range ammo, so it doesn't need to be sub-MOA

I have had no issues with shooting it. Most of it shot at indoor range training. After I shoot few more times I'll need to order more.

I had had no issues with the company and would use again.

I picked up my 3k rounds at UPS the other day (they came in last week, but I was out of town). They shipped in two boxes, 2000 in one and 1000 in the other (well, at least that's what the box says, I didn't actually count each round out).

They are mixed headstamp cases and I found at least 4 different varieties in the first handful. They look good though. I hopefully will get a chance to shoot some of them this weekend, so I'll let everyone know how they perform for me (though hopefully, as Chumley has found, they will be just fine).

thats exactly how mine came, anal as i am i sorted it all by brand. I shot over 200 rounds training last night and not one issue.

Doing a little necroposting.

I actually finally got a chance to shoot some of the Leadhead ammo I bought, both 115gr and 147gr 9mm. I took my MP5 SBR out to the range and ran 6 or so mags through it. Both the 147gr and 115gr worked perfectly and were decently accurate.

This was the target I was using with iron sights at 25 yards with my MP5 SBR. Not too bad (and honestly, I'm assuming most of the slop was me, not the ammo). Looks like it should be good to go when I get my sear.

I will just warn you that they are super slow on communication and will take a week or two to actually ship out the ammo. But, I've bought from them twice totalling 5,000 rounds, and while slow, they fulfilled both orders as promised.
