    That's a helluva idea. Too sensible so you know they probably wouldn't consider it.

    They would be very exciting. There would actually be some passing involved.
    The sound of the field accelerating through the short stretch backwards around turn one with the big rear gears would be great.

    I went to the first 15 Brickyards. I have also been to Bristol 5 times, Michigan and Daytona once each and IMS sucks compared to those tracks. I lost interest in NASCAR years ago and now I don't even watch it on TV. I'm more in F1 now more than anything. -Jason

    Indy was not designed for these cars.
    The F-1 guys were freaked at the terminal speeds they ran at Indy.
