    I'm praying that someone says - again - that we already have ConC for rifles/shotguns. That this would only expand that to handguns.

    That would pretty much gut all the statistical wizardry, which from what I can tell, does not distinguish.

    Even the constitutional issue changes tone when viewed from that perspective. It isn't whether the constitution allows or disallows ConC of firearms, it is specific to handguns. Is there a principled constitutional reason to treat "handguns" (including pistol gripped shotguns) differently?
