    Thread bump.

Maybe those cool enough to live in Indy* know this, but it seems Sun King has followed suit.

Coincidentally, I was listening to the TED Radio Hour broadcasting a show that dealt with this very issue. The premise was that the spirit of the law has been replaced with compliance. Why do brewers do this stuff? Compliance. The law says they have to, so they meet the law, yet in an absurdly non-function way. :xmad:

I don't blame Sun King as they're doing what they have to do to keep serving. Yet it's plainly obvious they don't meet the spirit of the law. No one ever said a democracy was perfect...

    * Sadly, Fort Wayne has a dearth of breweries. :(

Can't be true. It's just hipster lies and publicity stunts.

May be hipster nonsense and a stunt, but it helps business, go for it.

They didn't have this until Sun King realized that it helps drum up business. Wear your pork pie and stick it to The Man.:D

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Starting this week, Indianapolis-based Sun King Brewery is offering a new menu, but they don’t expect anyone to order from it.

Maybe the General Assembly will take notice, we can only hope.

Let me get this straight. They're "stickin' it to the man" by complying with the law and and ridiculing it without really accomplishing anything other than an inflated sense of how clever they are.

    Yep. Hipsters.
