Maybe those cool enough to live in Indy* know this, but it seems Sun King has followed suit.
Coincidentally, I was listening to the TED Radio Hour broadcasting a show that dealt with this very issue. The premise was that the spirit of the law has been replaced with compliance. Why do brewers do this stuff? Compliance. The law says they have to, so they meet the law, yet in an absurdly non-function way.
I don't blame Sun King as they're doing what they have to do to keep serving. Yet it's plainly obvious they don't meet the spirit of the law. No one ever said a democracy was perfect...
