That is pretty interesting. I admit that I know very little about ballisitcs and how bullets actually work. That video is a pretty good demonstration.

Neat video, but the music started driving me crazy after about a minute...

Great illustration why it's a bad idea to shoot steel targets at close range - there's a LOT of crap flying around after a bullet impact.

I do like the slow-motion videos and stills; I had this as the desktop background on my computer at work:

Some of the ones in the beginning were drilling right through!

Looks like a banana being peeled.

Good camera work. What were the items about in the middle
of the vid that were side impacting the rounds? Looked like they
were being shot with BB's and denting but how would you
    set up something like that?

Looks to me like this is all related to armor testing, I saw several different "targets".

Of course, it could also be projectile/load testing. Saw several bullets going through glass / windshields.

Some of it looked like ceramic plates for personal armor, but, of course, the multi-layered stuff was probably for vehicles and structures.

My favorites were the shots that allowed you to see the petals on the hollow points open up, both pistol and rifle calibers. VERY cool.

Great video. Really cool to see some of them come out the other side with no effect on the bullet shape!

very cool vid. im curious what was impacting the bullet on some of those shots... never seen a shot put together like that as someone stated earlier. looked like a BB hitting the bullet. nice video though.
