    Hey BBI, do you have any insight into how long I should expect the process to take to get the gun back?

    I am assuming I won't be able to go downtown and walk out with the gun on the same day, but in this case I would love to be wrong.

    Other than to advise that "it depends*", not really.

    *It depends on if it's already been through any required lab work and if it's involved in any pending trials, primarily.

    According to Det. Seifert, it's "being held as releasable to me."

    I'm hoping that means any lab work or trials are complete.
