Those kids are going to have a healthy respect for law enforcement from here on out.

He asked for a supervisor several times, tried to show him what papers he had with him, didn't seem to be belligerent. Unless that cop was carrying that tool around with him (why would he) then he knew exactly what he intended to do when he went to get it. This guy has two other excessive force charges against him that were settled and are being paid, why is he still on the street?
He is still on the street because he is a Cop and most departments have no accountability. Plus the lawsuits were settled out of court thus no admission of any wrongdoing.

So the "no" vote contingency was concerned that their findings may have the potential to harm the city's defence in any litigation stemming from this particular complaint. They were not concerned for any violations that may or may not have been committed? They commented on the many lawsuits the city is facing and their course of action is to weaken the other parties' case instead of rooting out any possible underlying cause for the lawsuits? Hmmmm. Sounds expensive in the long run.

I'm curious about what the police knew about Mahone when they stopped the car.

Just learned some very good attorneys I know well are defending the civil suit brought by Mahone and Jones. This'll be fun to watch.
