They should get twice their money back.
    Half for punitive damages.

How Indiana Stole $42,000 From a Couple Without Ever Charging Them With a Crime <<< LINK

A California couple found themselves embroiled in a legal battle with the state of Indiana despite never having set foot there after law enforcement seized their property under civil asset forfeiture.

Horsewhipping is too good for these officials. Solitary confinement for life might begin to satisfy fairness and justice.

And the justices that let this stand! How can any constitutional based justice allow this to happen without probable cause to even seize it and without being proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it is the proceeds of crime?

I think this is more evidence of the desire of high ranking people to demonize cash. It goes clear back to the 1970 RICO laws that vilified cash over $10,000. Of course when it was made that would buy TWO new Buicks and some arm candy to ride in them Inflation has brought that amount down to a simple home repair, or an old low end car.

The assumption that large amounts of cash HAS to be implicated in crime is backed up by RICO. It has become so perverted that a person can Cash a paycheck near his work in Chicago. If he deposits cash in the night deposit of his bank in Indiana 6 weeks in a row he will get a visit as if he had done something wrong. That was in 1995. Keeping check stubs handy has become mandatory. With electronic payroll and automatic deposits, you have nothing to show the investigators.

The oppressors want total control. Controlling a person with financial pressure is so much cleaner than controlling them with bullets, and easier to target than bio weapons. It will be very difficult to stop the Law Enforcement from confiscating anything that has been demonized statutes and in the eyes of the sheeple.

Where are you getting this misinformation from?

Yeah, you do, just not on hand. For me it would require logging into ADP to print my own stubs.

But I'm pretty sure folks have provided paperwork that will explain away the cash, and it was confiscated anyway. Even proof you just sold a car or an email/text that you were driving to buy a car wasnt enough to stop the confiscation.

    Life,

I have to look up and down load that information, and when the system is down, you cannot retrieve it. If they have had a mandatory password change since you logged on last, it often takes 24 hours before they let you log on again. When my financial information was hacked in 1998, it was a long difficult time to get any information. Not exactly handy like when they handed you a check with stubs.
