    My understanding is that the first incarnation of Froglube had the possibility of molding if conditions were right for it. The picture going around was absolutely caked with lube (again, not used correctly). Some kind of mold inhibitor has been added to the current incarnation of FL.

    well I stand corrected, but how much lube does one gun need?

    I tried Froglube and got malfunctions in a CZ 75 that had been flawless before. There is way too much rail to frame contact in a CZ for the amount of gumminess that Froglube induces. It might be great for a Glock with the minute frame to rail contact it has, but after the failure on the CZ, I went back to petro based lube. I used to use a combination of synthetic ATF, Mobil 1 and STP with good results. I've been using Slip 2000 EWL lately and it's also worked very well for me.
